Data Implementation & Data Delivery Manager

Remote
Full Time
Experienced

Littera Education is looking for a data-fluent, highly collaborative individual contributor to join our team as the Implementation & Data Delivery Manager for our data platform.

In this role, you will hold the keys to how our largest clients—including state organizations, research groups, and large educational institutions—experience their data. You will act as the critical bridge between our external partners and our internal data engineering team.

This is a highly cross-functional role. The majority of your time will be deeply client-facing: consulting with stakeholders to uncover their data goals, mapping out how they want metrics visualized, onboarding and helping their tutoring providers, and reporting on how onboarding and data transfer is going. The rest will be spent embedded with our internal engineering team: translating client needs so they can create technical data dictionaries, managing dashboards requests, and helping to prioritize the development pipeline in Jira.

The ideal candidate has a project management, product management, or implementation background, possesses a deep appreciation for clean data workflows, and loves seeing complex information transformed into beautiful, actionable dashboards. Important qualities are strong communication and organizational skills.

Your mission is to ensure that every data customer and tutoring provider is onboarded smoothly, data flows accurately, and our dashboards provide the exact insights our clients need to drive educational impact.

What You’ll Do

Client Strategy & Consultation

  • With the support of other team members, partner with state organizations, research teams, and enterprise education clients to understand their data collection goals and visualization needs.
  • Guide clients through the possibilities of the data system, helping them translate high-level reporting goals into structured data requirements.

Provider Onboarding & Technical Support

  • Lead the end-to-end onboarding process for all tutoring providers connected to your clients.
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact during onboarding: host walkthrough calls, share and explain data dictionaries, and clear up technical confusion regarding data transfer methods.
  • Actively troubleshoot and problem-solve data alignment issues with external technical teams to ensure seamless data pipelines.

Internal Data Engineering Coordination

  • Collaborate closely with the internal data engineering team to translate client requirements into clear, technical documentation.
  • Coordinate the creation of data dictionaries and client-specific dashboards.
  • Own the project management lifecycle for these deliverables by creating, tracking, and prioritizing tickets within Jira.
  • Serve as the internal voice of the client, ensuring engineering builds match user expectations.
  • Consult with our internal experts to answer client and tutoring provider questions and troubleshoot technical issues

Success in This Role Looks Like:

  • Tutoring providers feel clearly guided, supported, and empowered to pass accurate data on time.
  • Data integration timelines are predictable, transparent, and met without project lag.
  • Internal engineering teams have unambiguous requirements in Jira, reducing back-and-forth communication.
  • Data dashboards map precisely to what clients need to measure their organizational success.

You’re a Great Fit if You:

  • Think in data but speak in human: You can comfortably read a data dictionary or discuss data transfer methods, but you can also explain those concepts simply to a non-technical client.
  • Are inherently organized: Managing multiple clients, dozens of tutoring providers, and a backlog of engineering tickets sounds exciting to you, not overwhelming.
  • Love data visualization: You appreciate the difference between a cluttered chart and a highly functional dashboard that tells a clear story.
  • Thrive in cross-functional chaos: You enjoy being the "connective tissue" between clients, business stakeholders, and engineers.

Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of professional experience in a project management, product management, or data implementation role (preferably within SaaS or EdTech).
  • High level of comfort working with data schemas, data dictionaries, and data visualization tools.
  • Hands-on experience using Jira (or similar project tracking tools) to manage backlogs and development workflows.
  • Exceptional communication and client-relationship skills with experience hosting technical onboarding or discovery calls.
  • Experience in or passion for the education or tutoring sector is a major plus.

What you will you receive:

  • Be part of a fully remote team and amazing, team oriented culture
  • Salary range of: $80,000-$100,000
  • Opportunity to help build and create
  • Health, dental and vision benefits
  • 401k
  • Parental leave
  • Equity in company
  • Satisfaction that you are contributing to our mission of getting tutoring help to those students that need it the most.

Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way.
